HNU and OP Jindal Global University (JGU) Formalize Partnership through MOU Signing

HNU strengthened its commitment to global academic engagement and internationalization with the formal signing of an MOU with OP Jindal Global University (JGU) of India on January 14, 2026.

The historic event took place at HNU during the second official visit of the JGU delegation, which was led by Prof. Rahul Bhandari, Director of Institutional Advancement and Strategic Global Engagement; Prof. Padmanabha Ramanujam, Dean of Academic Governance; and Prof. Ruby Grace Guia of Cebu Technological University (CTU), The signing ceremony marks an important step in forging deeper ties between both institutions and expanding opportunities for mutual growth, collaboration, and academic excellence. This collaboration builds on a shared commitment to preparing students for success in a globally interconnected world. 

Collaboration with JGU, an institution widely recognized for its strong global outlook and comprehensive international partnerships, further strengthens HNU’s international network and academic reach, supporting the university’s long-term vision of quality, relevance, and global presence in higher education. 

Representatives from both institutions expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential to catalyze new academic pathways, strengthen research collaboration, and promote enduring institutional linkages between the Philippines and India.
