Bro. Bulilan Participates in the PMRC 2018 Conference at National University of Singapore

Dr. Bro. Carl Milos R. Bulilan, SVD presented his study titled: “From Governing to Selling Tourism: Local Government and the Tourism Industry of Bohol, Philippines” at the National University of Singapore during the PUBLIC MANAGEMENT RESEARCH CONFERENCE (PRMC) 2018. Said international conference was held on May 30 to June 2, 2018 at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Policy and was organized by Public Research Association and Lee Yuan Yew School of Public Policy of National University of Singapore. Dr. Bro Bulilan was one of several presenters from 300 scholars from leading universities and organizations around the globe.

The Public Management Research Association Conference (PMRC) has become the foremost gathering of leading public management scholars in the U.S. and around the world, “according to the PMRC website.

The overall conference theme is “Public Management in the 21st Century: Trends, Challenges, Competencies. In an operating environment characterized by vulnerability, Complexity and Ambiguity- a VUCA world- public managers will face a variety of new challenges, including managing diffuse stakeholders network, authority turbulence and populism, and multi-sector service delivery chains.
